Several veilds in one place

so my local "mom 'n pop" pet store, where I got my Chloe from, has at least 4 veiled chams in one enclosure at any given time. After so much research about them I've learned this is not ideal for them. Today I was in there to get crickets and one was clearly stressed, one laying low, and yet another one that seemed to be the somewhat dominant one, all in one enclosure! I love this store, they have a great reputation in town, but I get so upset when I see these chams!! I've debated whether or not I should say something(I'm normally very non confrontational) but seeing one or more obviously stressed is almost too much for me to keep quiet. How should I go about pointing this obvious mistake out? I would still like to do business with them as they are local owners that, like I stated, have been here for years, since I was a little girl. Any advice???

Unfortunately the owner likely understands the proper care needs but has made a decision that display space is more important than individual animal needs. Hopefully the turnaround is quick and these chams don't spend very long in the displays.

That's kinda what I was hoping. When I got my Chloe they had one seperated because it'd been bitten on the back leg by another one. I can't help but be disappointed that they'd sacrifice the well being of these animals for space. At least they're all still pretty young, but still. At least our Petsmart here in town only puts one out at a time, albeit an extremely small enclosure...

Our local stores here which I don't want to name do this constantly. I told them how I felt and they came back with a rude comment so I just let it be. There's no harm in talking to them but I'm sure it will go in one ear and out the other.

I agree, I'll probably get the same response here but I have to say something next time. I wanted to buy the one that was so clearly stressed today but had to fight it.

I spoke up about the condition of a Cham to my local reptile store. They quickly moves it to a higher shelf in a low traffic area. Not sure what ever came of it, next time I went to the store it was gone. I am assuming based on the state that I saw it in that it passed.

Point being, I think you should speak up. The store will listen, or they wont. But at least you are trying...
