Also hes gone a lighter colour and spikes on his back look black

If its a baby or young juvi, its normal.

they can be normal one second, and then just explode into shed...

relax. its ok.

Yes they can shed that fast. Young panthers can even complete a shed within a few hours. They get slower as they get older.

Yeah mine shed in like one whole day. Was very sudden. The only way I could tell he was shedding was 1) he started to get grumpy 2) his head looked glossy.

It's totally normal. :)

normal. put your mind at ease.. his skin will start to look a little foggy as you saw before and as a youngin will pop at once and start coming off all together as he rubs around... as a adults they may just shed part by part. my guy at a year and a half or so will shed a back half... then belly then head... then later on his back then start all over in a few weeks. all very normal just make sure you get lots of humidity and water as it will help it come off effortlessly.

Ok thankyou it just looked such a mess lol will his colours come out more every shed then?

Yes more color everytime until adulthood then it will slow down. The first 7-8 months the sheds are very exciting.
I know what your saying about mess. It looks like someone emptied a pencil sharpener in ur cage.
