He is a year old I believeHow old is he, I can't remember Apollo's exact age. When they get around 1 year+ they start to lack in appetite and get grumpy around shedding times from my experience. I don't know why, other than most adults have a harder time shedding than juveniles and babies.
Ya I have one I use for my snakesThen I would say it's pretty normal. He's still eating and the food is pretty nutritious considering what chameleons are known for getting hooked on lol. Do you have a gram scale? I would weigh him if you can.
Keep a regular record of his weight. He shouldn't lose too much weight during a shed. It shouldn't be more than at most 20 grams.Ya I have one I use for my snakes
I offer them in the am he had a feeding cup but was not to happy with that he likes to hunt so I place hornworm as silkworm around his enclosure also a few crickets what he dose not eat I get our befor bed it has just been the last week he dose not seem to get excited about food he will eat off my hand no problem as well but not at the moment lol he want to eat my handLet's see, I would say he normally weighs at least around 150 grams. How many times are offering the feeders he will regularly eat at the moment? Such as silkworms, super worms, hornworms, etc?
He is really small I only got him at end of September and he was in the smallest enclosure I saw him on Kijiji and felt so bad for him93 gm seems a little small to me. My male veiled is 171 gm.
That was the first time on the scaleHis poop looks good. Do you know his regular weight?
