should I trust this vet

Yesterday I had a little freak with my panther chameleon. I saw brown spots on his foot and saw him sleeping during the day? One is that normal do chameleons take Naps during the day? The vet never gave me any clear info or answer for my questions. He was very rough with him he would yank him off my shirt or flip him on his back very fast and he was already stressed from the car ride. Well before I even went to the vet they told me they knew about them and they could help and when I told them he was sleeping during the day they told me bring him in just incase so that worried me even more. Well at the end of the vet check he went to weigh him. He was moving a good bit and he couldn't get him still to take his weight so he grabs about 6 paper towels and rolls him in the paper towels like a burrito and folds part of the paper towels by his face and pascal seemed to be every distressed. After he did that he takes him off the scale and tosses him to the end of the table and pascal just flips around at that time I grabbed pascal and took him and didn't let him touch him again. He's eating today so not to stressed but is this normal for a bet to treat a chameleon this way?

Find a new vet. I would never allow anyone to tread one of my animals like that. Where do you live? I might be able to help you find a good chameleon vet.

Ok I was just making sure it wasn't me this was the first time I brought him to the vet and like I said after that I didn't let him touch him. Also he was trying to tell me my chameleon needs heat at night and his cage needs to stay the same temp as it does during the day. I don't really think this vet knew anything about panther chameleons. I live in Baton Rouge Louisiana. But I will be going back to Jacksonville North Carolina in December. My husbands a marine and is deployed right now that's the only reason I'm in la right now. But if you happen to know someone around Jacksonville that would be great.

I posted the reply above I forgot to quote it but is it normal for a panther to nap during the day?

Let me check around and see if I can find a vet near there. I'll let you know.

Current Problem - i walked in the other day and noticed his eyes closed once I sprayed his cage he opened them. I don't know if he was napping if something's wrong I'm constantly worried about him and need to know if I'm doing anything wrong. He eats no problem and drinks he stays at the top of his cage on his basking spot. He shed not to long ago about 5 days ago and under his neck is still white it is normally bright orange is that normal? Am I just freaking out over little things and he's actually ok?

Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about.

Is the Fluker's vitamins a multivitamin if so it should only be used once every two weeks. I am not real familiar with this product. I don't think the quality of Fluker's is adequate for this application. I know their gut load is inferior. You should also dust with calcium with d3 once every two weeks, and without d3 every other feeding. Sleeping during the day isn't good you should get him to a qualified vet ASAP. And yes the one you took him to I would not trust.:)
Here is the multivitamin I use:
