Sick / Fungus or open wound?

Totally agree with you there. I mean we can not stress this enough for new chams owner. Do your research before you buy a chameleon. .

The point is he is not the owner. He was looking for advice and was slammed for the owners mistakes.

He won't be back and will not recommend the owner to come here either. Nothing has been learned. Nor will it be learned. The Cham is the only one that will continue to suffer here.

The goal is to help the cham no matter what they have done wrong in the past they came here for help. Driving them away is no better than the owner. The Cham is still suffering without any possible recovery from this forum.

We are all assuming he got scared away but we do not even know what happened. With the husbandry and the looks of that chameleon he may have passed away and there would be no reason for him or the owner to return. No one ever slammed him personally from what I have read. And why would they, as he was not the owner and I think that was clear to just about everyone. If we are not allowed to make comments and express the way that we feel cause a few feelings are going to get hurt then oh welll. He was given constructive criticism by many members along with some of the unnessary comments. Hopefully he took our advice and ran with it.

I agree with you Carol, it is not likely that he got scared off. He stated that he was looking to keep to keep the chameleon alive until the owners came back. I don't believe he was capable of filling out the form because he is not the care taker and most likely has no idea how the chameleon was cared for. All we can hope is that if the chameleon is still alive he passed on the information that the chameleon has MBD and needs vet assistance and the husbandry needs to be changed. Which in my opinion he probably did pass on that info, because he cared enough to post here.

Do a search on how to ask for help.

Yep!! Not to mention there are 4 or 5 pages of posts and not once does anyone ask him to fill out the "ask for help form" to see what he has, doesnt have and needs to change. Kinyonga posted the only helpful information in this entire thread but it was probably too late and the thread starter is long gone. What a shame.

...I think it was too late anyways...
