Signs on respiratory infection?

Bemo has been doing very well this week, I changed a few things with his feeding and vitamins and he is responding well. But yesterday when I got home from work I noticed a little bit of white crust around his nostrils. It actually looks like a patch of dry skin/shedding skin...less like crust. I read drainage and gaping mouth could be a sign of respiratory infection. I am not sure if this is dried drainage or not. Has anyone had a cham that just has a piece of shedding skin on bilateral nostrils? I am going to try to post two pics, but it will probably be really hard to see unless maybe you are looking at it from a computer. [/ATTACH]

Respiratory infection usually happens when your chameleon is making wheezing or popping noises when it breathes.

That looks normal because chameleons sneeze to get rid of excess salt. Which is what the buildup is.

totally normal.

not a sign of a respiratory infection,

gaping mouth (when not hot), wheezing, clicking noise, popping noise, excess saliva, coughing, are signs of an RI.
