Silk worm

My little guy is 2 months now and he's eating reptiworms. After they are gone I wanna move onto a new feeder. I want to do silk worms but I heard they could be very difficult to care for. I wanna avoid crickets and mealworms and once I feel like he's ready in about 2 week or a month I'm gonna do dubias has his main diet but also offer him different bugs through out the week. I don't have the funds to do a different bug every day which I would like to do. But if there really is nothing out there I will do crickets until he's big enough for dubias

At 8 weeks I was feeding off small dubias. Silk works aren't to bad as long as you keep them right about 80f ALL the time and feed them proper food. He should be big enough for house flys too. A good variety of feeder including crickets will keep him from getting bored.

silkworms dont necessarily have to be hard to care for. their immune systems are practically non existent so everything has to be sterile all the time! daily cleanings, clean hands when handling them, removing old food. i usually keep them alive for about 2 weeks at a time than they die off or are fed off. i have 4 right now which i want to try to atleast get to cocoon so i can try and attempt breeding them at some point.

changing variety each and every day isnt needed, would be nice but dont worry about it. have a circulation of 3-5 prey items constantly and your good.
