For the past couple of nights, my veiled's been going to sleep earlier and earlier every night. he was asleep when i got home from school today!!! he doesn't look ill and he moves around loads before he goes to sleep. Anyone got any idea why, cause i dont

What time is he going to sleep? Was it cold and dark in his room?

It's that time of year.
With the days being shorter you can expect your chameleon to roost earlier.
My male veiled has been going to sleep as early as 2:30 or 3:00 in the afternoon recently.

he gets ready for sleeping at about 5:30pm, but hes all alone and the lights are off in the room he's in. I'll try keeping them on tomorrow

yeah he seems fine and eats about 10 crickets every other day with the occosional waxworm

Hey brad do you switch off his lights when you see him already sleeping so early? and what time does he wake up thats alot of sleep lol

I have gradually reduced the amount of time that lights are on and will gradually increase it after winter solstice.
Lights come on at 6:45 a.m. (with the sun)

Sorry to bring back an older thread but I didnt feel the need to start a new one...I just got home and my veiled has been asleep about an hour, which is about an hour before his lights go off. When he goes to sleep early should I kill his lights early as well?
