Small enclosures

I am going to buy a enclosure for a new Panther Chameleon. The question is if I buy one 24"wx36"hx18"d & I know that at some point in the future I will build a bigger one as he grows should I put all of the buttons & whistles in the small one and carry it over to the large one?
I mean a good misting system, Timers, ect. I hope this makes sense.:)

I have thought about that as well but I figure that I should just get the biggest cage as I can for their size. I want to do the 'set it and forget it' mentality when it comes to getting options and cage sizes because once I get the Chameleon, I want to focus on its health and not alter the living space, lighting, humidity, and everything that goes into raising a healthy Chameleon. Does that make sense? I don't have one now but I'm in the middle of preparing a permanent home for an adoptee....hehe.

Yea sure, why not. Timers and misters are a huge benefit to both chameleons as owners, as it keeps things on a predictable schedule. And they can be very easily transferred from one cage to another, so when you build a bigger one it'll take you all of 3 minutes to switch it all to the larger cage. So go ahead if you want to buy that stuff now :)
