She's bigger than the last time and she had 11 ( 1 died at birth and the others died within 10 days ... we think the 6 hour drive back home from vacation the day after they were born may have had a hand in it ) . She doesn't eat as much the past few days ... I'm guessing any day now I'm gonna have little baby jax's again .

Do live bearers slow down on food before giving birth? Anybody notice. Seems due to less body cavity space. Maybe a single food item should be offered more times throughout the day as the birth date gets near. For mom's health and the babies.

Retained sperm ... I never bred her . When I bought her at Petsmart , she was already pregnant and nobody knew .

She's my good girl ... let's me hold her and never gets moody . Since she's gonna have babies soon though , I don't think I'm gonna hold her for awhile .
