I have been using one since June- I have very hard water and had a few problems until i switched to filtered water - at one time I had a tube that i would run out the end so it would fog both cages - I found the tubing looked like hell and was a pain to clean- I just sit it outside the Jackson's cage now without tubing the mist goes into the cage -
Any problems I had were fixed by running vinegar through it - I used to fill it with brita (actually the cheap version) but now I just use the fridge as it has a filter in it - without the tubes it's easy to clean and fill before I go to work quickly and I use bleach and water on the weekend vinegar on weekdays if it seems to be slowing down.
