So Tired of Hand Misting!

YES I AM! I am now looking for an automatic misting system... Thing is of course, low on cash. Anyone have a used one they no longer need? Willing to trade a few A. versicolor slings or a baby Crested Gecko, when they are ready.

I really enjoy looking and watching my chams while I mist, it really is a nice experience but I don't think my hands and forearms can take it anymore.

I swear there is nothing nicer in the morning than sitting in front of the cages when the misting system is on and watching them drink - and your arms aren't tired! lol The room starts to smell rainforesty and it sounds like rain. It's a nice thing to drink coffee to.

Good luck finding a misting system! They are godsends!

I like the fact that Aquazamp parts are made in the U.S. and Kevin is located right down the street from me. I've been to shows and have seen it work in person, LOVE the rain dome. Plus, shipping costs are a better price.

hmm. I would love to see someone compile a pros and cons list of mistking and aquazamp, that way I know which is better. :3 I like the fact it is made int he U.S. too.

The only cons to a mistking are...NOTHING. Get one! You and your chams will be so happy!

Didn't mean to take this into a different direction but it's all about what you prefer... Personally that is what I like and is what I want. Nothing wrong with someone making a better (my opinion) misting system. I have not tried either so can't speak from experience but I have watched one in the works and really liked it. There are plenty of threads out there with plenty of opinions. Right now, i'll take a Monsoon! I would say Habba Mist but I was given one and it didn't even work when I plugged it it.

you really cant go wrong with either one,

there really is no real difference as far as pro/cons goes for

one is made in USA and the other is not.

to me thats the only real difference

oh and aquazamp has the rain dome.

i cant really say its a imitation, its not less than MistKIng when it comes to quality

to me its like bottled water, with different brands, or coke and pepsi...but im not gonna go there....cuz i know poeple will tell me the distinct difference bewteen the two

Don't forget the Ecologic Technologies Rainmaker misting systems. They pre-date MistKing I'm pretty sure (no comments on which is better...they both seem great)! Mine must be 15 years old.

He is in Brea California... Not literally down the street but you know what I mean. I think it is about an hour from here but don't quote me on that... I'm not sure.

ummm someone needs to check there facts before spoutin off that mistking is the orig cause he isnt theres been others too,like promist, cloudmist,ect . i didnt say anything the lasttime you made that statement but feel i must this time cause you insist on given bad information thanks an have a nice day... this is also comin from someone whos got promist mistking an aquazamp. I was thinking the same thing lol. I had a promist many years ago. In fact it's still in the garage somewhere. It is very much the same thing, I mix up the parts all the time.
