Thanks guys! Oh and the pink is from the highlighter the people at the reptile store used to mark her with, showing she's mine.

are you fucking kidding? that's like getting half your body dipped in ink. that's wrong in so many ways it's not even funny

...she's cute though

..it really wasn't a big deal. they only did one line.. on one side of her tail.
she shedded it off within 2 weeks anyways.

Easy there, guys...non-toxic, temporary, good identification. Trust me (university trained wildlife scientist) no chameleon was injured in the marking of that creature.

Po is lovely!

Submitted for your approval,
Tyg

ps, nice to see another Cat here!

The pink is not a big deal. A lot of breeders do it too. It comes off. She looks great btw. In the last few pics she looks stressed though.

Thanks guys! oh and in those last ones she definitely was not happy because I had just taken her out of her house. haha she calms down in a few minutes though.

She's so cute! Female veileds are the better gender of the species ;) Wait til she hits 6 months and gets those mature female colors, she'll be extra pretty.

And yea, if you've ever been to a reptile show, many of the animals like beardies are marked with a spot of marker, identifying them as male or female. Wouldn't want to get two confused and sell the wrong gender to someone that's looking for something specific. As another biologist and ecologist, I second the opinion that it's harmless :) Like putting a colored ribbon on a lab puppy to mark it as taken.

Oh I can't wait for her to blossom into chameleon women hood!
Look at how little she was when I got her , so precious :)

She looks great! And no worries to those about the highlighter, I got mine from the same breeder/store and it comes off with the next shed. No big deal, though when I got my Crestie there and they marked it that was another story - lil bugger didnt want to sit still.
