Something wrong with my chameleon's eye?

So i mentioned this a little bit in another post, with my chameleon scratching her eye on the branches and she has seemed to slow down a bit, I have noticed her skin starting to flake, so it could very well be her starting to shed.

On another note. I have noticed something strange with her left eye.

maybe for the past 15min or so she hasn't been opening it, and she's making it all puffy. She'll move it around and looks like she's detatching it from her eye socket. I'm a little worried about this, because it only seems to be her one eye. She's done this since I've got her 3 weeks ago.

Here's a picture, (it's the best I could do without taking her out of her new home)

It's not the best picture, but you can see that her one eye is bulging. I've heard that this is how they clean their eyes, but I don't know if this is correct.

Here's another picture of her eye, It looks normal, but just closed.

but at the time of this picture, she was looking around with her other eye.

Any advice? Since tomorrow is a holiday the vet is closed, so if it keeps up I'll take her tuesday and see if I can find out what's wrong.

I'll see if I can take a better picture of it for everyone to see.

Molly's eyes were, and are still a little bit, like this. She had an eye infection so i'm guessing that is what it may be. again, you should consider whether you are giving her too much or too little vitamin A as this could be the cause but may not be. also commented on how much supplement you are giving her, try lowering the dose to once or twice a week.

Something is aggravating the eye. They do the eye roll thing to "clean" the eye. Mist her heavily to allow her to flush what ever is in there out. If it continues you may need to do an actual eye flush. And if that doesn't work then a vet visit is in order.

I've never had to do it but from what I understand is, you get some saline solution for contact lens, hold the cham and actually squirt the solution into the eye.

must be PLAIN saline solution, not a cleaner, conditioner, allergy or redness helper type. a few drops into the eye (not squirt) to facilitate flushing out any irritant.

jack did this once, but i could actually see a little piece of shed stuck in his eye...........can you see anything in there at all?

Bingo! normal part of releiving itchy eyes, been watching it pre/during sloughs for months, and no bad lights.

my chameleon is doing that as well, but with both eyes. He has only started doing it this morning, but with being at school the other day i dont know if he was doing it then as well. The eye on the left goes down pretty quickly, but he has to rub the right eye against something to make it go down.
This is my first chameleon, male, Panther, 4 months old.
He doesnt look like hes shedding at all. Really worried, i have only had him for a couple of days.
What should I do?
