Spurs!! Help Please!

I think I see spurs

Ok, I managed to get a couple of pics of the back of Amy's heels. They aren't brilliant, BUT, I think I see spurs!!:( The spurs aren't always obvious - they look more like extra skin rather than a bump. He/she also seems to have rather a 'male' attitude too!:D What do you guys think? Do I have an 'Amy' or an 'Amos'?

Does look like there is barring there too, but then again you know my experiences with spurs, barring and casques! Are you able to take 'her' to the vets to get checked out?

I think you are going to have a blast with him:rolleyes: but he will be loved just the same I just know it.:D One thing about the boys is no egg laying issues any more.

yea Im thinking that is a boy!! My veiled has small spurs just like that and he is a boy.:D

Look at the bright side! No more digging eggs up and worrying about your cham getting egg bound! Now you just get to clean up sperm plugs

Pity a boy called Amy! Imagine the hell at school!
Reminds me of an old country western song called 'A boy named sue'.

My real name is Shannen :p And no that isn't a type-o. It's spelled with an E.

Yes growing up was hell. Save your "boy" the trouble of being picked on by the other Chams. Change his name. :D

Tiff; You are going to love having a male.....so much easier than female. Looks as tho he's going to be a very handsome! Jann

NO WAY!!been away 4 a few days, can't believe i am seeing this thread!!Amy is really an Amos!one lucky wee man to have u as a mom Tiff,I'm sure you'll love him just as much!!(HAHA!!)

:D

Tiff, has Amos stuck for a name? It does sound cool.

Yes - Amos it is. Thanks Toniandgizmo for the name suggestion! However.... I'm still not convinced! Although you can clearly see the spurs in the photos, they are not visible all the time! S/he is showing more barring today though. Trust me to choose a transgender chameleon, lol!

It all adds to the fun Tiff! Gives you that little bit of extra knowledge and experience :D

ROFL!! :D

Maybe it just dresses as a male at the weekends ;)

Oh my goodness, that's hilarious :D

As far as the name Amos goes, Thanks Tiff, you just payed me a great compliment if you're keeping that name.

If he is a little boy, just as others have said you don't have the egg laying issues anymore. That was one of my main reasons for buying a male this time. Been there - done that and it wasn't fun.

Years ago when I bought a baby Globifer I thought I had a male so I named 'him' Bert. Soon it was obvious I had a girl so I changed her name to Roberta! lol
Don't be disappointed you have a male. They live longer and are hardier and you won't have to worry about eggs etc.

Well Tiff this is the best I could do. My kids are about the age of your he/she. It was super hard to get feet pictures. The first couple are me holding the cham, David taking picture, at the end you see me taking a picture and how the little darling feels about the camera invading his space. He actually lunged ar me. Boy either my sister or Josh have a mild mannered boy in store for them ---NOT.:D:D That guy tried to eat me!!
