what type of stick insect?
If you mean the common Indian Walking stick, then yes, you can. Make sure you know what the stick has been eating in the couple days before feedoff
Right, not ivy
Blackberry or raspberry leaves, rose bramble, dandelion, romaine...

Thank you. The guy is going to try to find out what type they are as they belong to his son. If he doesn't know then I won't risk it but might look at purchasing some myself.![]()
post a photo, we can likely ID if its a safe one

I was on ebay earlier today and they are pretty cheap on the uk one.....
depends where you live
most are illegal in the USA and in Canada you usually need permits.
Anyone know how much time I would need to look after them?
Its fairly minimal. Add fresh bramble roughly weekly (depends how many you have). Clean out roughly weekly (must be careful to burn or otherwise destroy the unwanted eggs that will be amongst the droppings - dont just dump in the garbage). Spray with water every other day (depends on humidity in your location).
thats it.
i saw in another post that there is a pet store in PA somewhere that sells them, so i'm assuming i should be able to get ahold of them somehowdepends where you live

Another question. How many stick insects can I feed my chameleons a week?
