Still at petco

This beautiful and FRIENDLY boy is still here:-(. I'm trying to convince my dad he needs a chameleon. Friend said she would practically give him to me or another keeper who knew their stuff.

I know. I'm terrible for even being in here. Leave me alone I've had a tough week and wanted to hold some chams and birds.

I do and I would give it to my dad! I would have taken him today but I need to move to MN next year and shipping 2 chams across states sounds like alot lol.

I should mention this dude is in Boulder Colorado. My friend is the handler there and ive pointed her to this forum to give the chams there the best care within petcos stupid fucking sales parameters. All signs look healthy he just hates the enclosure there as he should.

I'm so tempted and you're SUCH AN ENABLER BECCA!! LOL

If they will give you access to the person they got the cham from and that person can give you all the answers needed for you to make a well informed decision I'd say go for it.

Yeah petco wont know and certainly won't give me access to whoever they got him from. He has been there almost 2 months.
 
Get it!! Damn!! He will die there!! Uugghhh he needs a good home, take him, give him a good life!! Not too fancy a life, fame is terrible in public, rich and private is perfect..lol..

It was pretty rough my friend is very saddened. She has asked to put at least more foliage in there but nope. Shes asked me for months to take him. She said she takes him out and he will cruise around the store with her just to get him out of the little cage.
. Hes insanely friendly he crawled all the way up my head and down my arms. I literally have two complete extra enclosures at home one was setup for the little guy I didnt end up getting.

Maybe I will convince her to give him to me. Shes leaving petco soon so hopefully she will just tell them he was in decline and I could take him.

I'm v torn in this. The truth I'd I am well equipped for it and even during the move I will have 6 months at my dads house in the mountains while I look for a house in Minnesota. He has already agreed to keep Mona while I get her setup done in the new place in Minnesota. Once our home is ready I planned to just ship her to myself. I supposed I could do both with little extra effort but how does this even happen lolllll.
