stomach capacity?

In prep for Thursday surgery I am getting Cy's weight up with Repta-aid, bug juice, etc. (vet's orders). Yesterday he vomited some up and I may have given him too much. I remember a long time ago (I think on another forum) there was discussion/site about about stomach capacity of different lizards (might have benn a beardie site). I thought I had it bookmarked but cannot find it. Anyone know or can give me some guidelines?

Not exactly stomach capacity information but...
"Although I'm unaware of hard data from research labs, all indications are that chameleons have relatively small stomach volumes. My own experiences in feeding trials with healthy chameleons, assist-feeding sick chameleons, and careful dissection during necropsies suggest that chameleon stomachs have limited capacities. You'll see far less regurgitation, and far better recovery of weight, from an added meal."

"A useful approximation is that 1 (one) ml (cc) of water is needed for every calorie. If your chameleon needs, for example, 8 calories daily, it will be drinking about 8 ml daily. Another way to estimate water intake is to use an empirical equation of 10 to 30 ml/kg body weight."

thanks, k! I was going to email you, but was not sure when I'd hear back so figured I'd put it out here. Repta-aid comes with a dosage recommendations which of course I cannot find, but the water/calorie and SMR articles will help me figure it out. He seems to tolerate it better if it is thick, maybe he knows better when to stop. I just made a new formula using ensure, hissers, silkies, etc. that I am off to try and will just give him less. He likes to eat on his own in the morning but just had two small silkies.

I looked on adhcam and could not find anything. Be nice if they had some info with their bug juice recipe.
