Sun color vs inside color

I love watching him change colors from inside to outside. He is so much brighter and bolder outside. He just shed yesterday, so he isnt quite as bold as he normally his. ANd his casque is a bit grey on the back side, but he has developed tealish colored spots on him when he goes outside. I love it!

Since allowing my chams up to 2 hours a day of real sun (would be more but its 100 degrees here) I have seen a complete upgrade in their colors... Herbie didn't even show ANY colors but his baby browns until I took him outside and his greens came in... For those who keep their chams cooped up TAKE EM OUT!! They get so much more colorful after receiving that D3 boost!

Whered the red go? lol. I try to give my guy as much outside time as possible. even it if it means i have to mist him more often. But he loves it so much, and its soo good for him!

I want to take my girl outside but I don't have an outside cage for her and if I walk around with her to much she starts to freak out. Any tips on how to take her outside other then getting an outside cage for her. I plan on building one but don't have the extra funds right now.

I bought a couple larger trees from Home Depot. I have em chillin in the backyard and tied a couple pathways between them and boom! Outside free range, my guy never is in it unattended so if your looking to keep her out without you watching you will want a cage.

My guy lets me hold him so thats how i got the outside pics. But i put him in his cage then left him outside so he was safe. I jsut take his whole cage outside when its sun time.

I have one in a sunning cage and one just on me outside, and one on free range inside. then I switch it up, the one on me goes to cage, cage goes to fr, fr comes on me!.
I rotate until everyone has had 2 hours outside, then they get warm showers and a clean house!!
easy and cheap!. if you only have 1, just sit outside and let him/her crawl around on you, after mine warm up a bit they want to run around on the lawn for excerise :D just have to be super careful of whats above me so a bird doesnt swoop down and grab one!

Thank you for the ideas. I think I will have to try out the cheap cage to build. I had the vines from her cage to a free range tree for her but I cant do that for an outside free range since I live on the 3rd floor of an apartment. I wouldn't be comfortable with her on the balcony even with me watching. But we do have a very big and quite yard for us with a portable cage.

I live in an apt as well and what I'm doing is taking a hook and placing it in the roof of my balcony, hanging a pothos from the hook and then taking a collapsible laundry basket and wrapping it around the pothos... Making a temporary cage...
