Sunday morning with my Ambilobe

Got my guy to spend the night in the free range setup. It just gets better and better. He's tolerant of me and his demeanor is becoming very calm. I feel bad that I'm going to have to cage him when the weekend is over. So here's a few snapshots.

This is his pothos plant. I did some adjustment to placement of the bulb. I just learned that mercury vapor bulbs have to be vertically oriented. First light bulb that ever came with instructions!

The next two are him climbing down to go explore a bit. I think the dripper I put up has intrigued him.

And lastly is a handling shot. I can actually pick him up without a glove now.

Wow! He's coming around fast! I never worry about mine at night....they never move. :) He looks very happy in his plant.

I'm not worried about night time either. I've isolated the setup so there is not really a way to leave it except for down or if he jumps. I've seen a round smooth surface (like an upside-down bowl) used at a reptile show that seems to prevent them from wanting to go down. Do you any issues of them going all the way down?

I guess he will have to be supervised then hehe. Besides, I have a mistking setup in my cages. I can't let that go to waste.
