When you said that Dr. Alfonso was expensive and too busy I thought that was very strange. I have known Dr. Alfonso for a long time. He was my daughters vet before I even started keeping chameleons. He's one of the most compassionate vets I've ever met. He loves reptiles and I think chameleons are one of his favorite. He use to raise panther chameleons and kept many other species over the years. He's one of the best chameleon vets in the US. I've referred allot of friends to him and I've never heard anyone complain about him being expensive.

So let me get this right, you saw a person who was not a vet, but pretended to be Dr Ivan Alfonso? How in the world did you ever hook up with this person and where did you go to see him? Most vet's offices know if they have qualified vet's and I am sure Ivan would want to be made aware if someone were using his name. I will give Ivan a call and talk to him, as soon as you let me know how you hooked up with this nut job. I can't believe someone would do that and charge you lots in the process. It does sound like you got ripped off, we should get to the bottom of this so it doesn't happen to others, or so ivan's name and reputation are not impacted. I think really highly of Ivan, he is just what a vet should be. He has helped me over the phone since there are no vets near me. He is very knowledgeable, caring & I would never believe he would rip any one off, just not in his nature.
