Looked in the cage this morning and everything looked normal-big fat hoehnelii female hanging on a branch. Checked again at lunch and there's 11 babies cruising around on the top screen. Very excited!

Ralph doesn't want them until they're near reproductive. He said last time I sent him young Hoehnelii they were cricket size, and had trouble with them!Bob I love them!! You should send one to Ralph!
Yeah, I'm pretty excited about them!Yay, Bob!!! I was wondering when this was going to happen. Good luck with them!
Here's the dam still full of babies:

Sorry, I should have been more clear. That pic was pre-babies. I'll take some pics of her post babies soonSo cute...and the mom is still full of babies?? Wow!
Joel, when is this species NOT basking? My males bask off and on throughout the day-pretty sure they're not gravid. I have another female half the size of the female that just dropped 11 babies and she basks most of the day.Did you notice the female intensely basking the days before having these?
Thanks Jeremy. I keep the q. quads and t.hoehnelii outside 24/7 for about 9 months a year. So, yes they'll be outside until Dec..A big congratulations Bob! Are you going to raise the babies 100% outside for the summer? Where you live it is a consideration.
Best Regards
Jeremy A. Rich

This would be a great species for you in Alaska: takes the cool temps during the day and loves the temp drop at night. And they don't need a bunch of room or humidity.
Am I just getting really old and dumb. I thought you were living in Alaska. I thought I remember you moving recently. You never lived in Alaska?Regardless, the reptile shippers are now doing the paper work for us to ship to Canada. You should definitely check into this species.I'm not in Alaska! I'm in Ontario, Canada!
I'm relieved she wasn't still carrying babies! I've never kept that species....never seen one in Ontario but there may have been a few here over the years.
