T. j. jacksonii 'Machakos'

Wow they are beautiful as is the cage! Their colors are so pretty and I love the females pattern :) How old are they? If you already said previously on the thread and I missed it, I apologize lol

Thanks Barbara. If find the female has subtly beautiful patterns as well. I don't know how old they are as they are farm raised in Kenya and imported. However the female has grown quite a bit in the past few months so I don't think she's over the hill so to speak. So perhaps a year or more, based on size?

I'll be happy to share what I've learned with you when you need it.
In the mean time this podcast should help you prep to expect the unexpected. http://www.chameleonbreeder.com/podcast/episode-002-surprise-chameleon-babies-yay-yikes/

Thanks! I'll keep you posted. I have gleaned some info about raising in tubs etc from internet videos, etc. However I had not heard that particular podcast so it really clarified it well. I've learned a lot from Chameleon Breeders Podcast. I'll have FF ready since I'm feeding other animals with them already. I have tubs and can get house plants, lights, etc.

Here is the bright colors male T. j. j. 'Machakos' can take on when comfortable and settled in. They get pure turquoise over their entire body with the bright yellow patch. Really brilliant.
