Taming a veiled?

Ok so i had my Veiled chameleon for 4 months now and she still is very, very mean she hisses and tries to bite me when i stick my hand in there to put food down for her or try to hand feed her. I have handled her very little because im worried she might get stressed and die or get sick. So im wondering is she always going to be like this or is there a way i can make her nicer?

Be patient and keep working with her. Veiled Chameleons are known to have bad tempers so it could be like that forever, or she could lighten up a bit in the future. Only time will tell. Just try your hardest not to stress her and keep trying to hand feed. That is a good way to associate you with food and let her know that you mean no harm.

what i have been doing with my little 3 month old male is i have a laptop and i set him up on the top of the screen and he just hangs out he is hissy as well but with him on my laptop and my laptop in my lap he kinda just chills out so try that it does take time my 1yr old female is still a little hissy every now and then but i handled her alot and hand fed her alot try super worms every time they give them a super worm so when they open their mouth they get a treat it kinda calms them down now i dont mean force feed them but just when they open their mouth to hiss just put a superworm in there and it does kinda calm them down a bit

oh and rub their chin that helps to it calms them down

You can leave her cage open, and see if she comes out to explore. Once she sees she likes outside her cage she may continue to come out. This is what I did to tame my male. I got him at 5 months old and really mean. About 2 months later he showed huge personality change. This is just my experience though and it really depends on your cham

@WAMBO See? It's the proverbial tree falling in the forest: If I post on Chameleon Forums, does anyone learn?
