Lol yeah I know. I have a 3month veiled incoming.. Already ordered a 35watt bulb. Confused though.... Digital gun says 90f, reptizoo temp probe says 120f...121* F?! That's way too hot. Depending on the type of cham and age you want it closer to high 80s or so. I'd recommend a digital temperature gun to accurately measure the basking spot. Post a pic of your set up and what type of cham/age and we can better help you!
Thanks for that... I think the 35watt will do our ambient is 80-85*fYou want to point the gun directly at the chams body, adjust the lights accordingly. Away from the chams eyes of course.
I have a low ceiling, also consulted with most breeders(includes ng the one selling me my Cham) and all of them don't use a basking light to to the hot climate of our country..You can also just raise and lower the basking light to adjust the temps.
