Maybe cuz it happened to my panther Cham as well keep the tail lubricated it will fall off after a while it becomes dead tissueHow did you arrive at this conclusion?
The vet might save it but by looking at the pic is a process that’s hard to stop once it started the injury on himIs he going to be okay? I'm taking him to the vet soon.
I had the same issues I bought my chameleon like that at the expo and didn’t notice till I got home
Were you able to get him into the vet? I hope all is ok with him. Let us know.Is he going to be okay? I'm taking him to the vet soon.
That just doesn’t add up for me, but I guess it’s possible...Maybe cuz it happened to my panther Cham as well keep the tail lubricated it will fall off after a while it becomes dead tissue
Hi! Not yet no, but he is acting really normal and like his normal self so- His tail is still the same but it doesn't look as it causes him pain but Im taking him to the vet soon. Were you able to get him into the vet? I hope all is ok with him. Let us know.
This is the one part of the body I watch meticulously when Beman sheds just to make sure there are no issues with a cuff. Also whenever I am working in his cage and he wants out I have to make sure that his body is no where near the door when I have to close it so I do not pinch anything. This is another reason to use a feeder run so you do not have feeders loose as well.
I would really get him in as soon as possible... he could get an infection from the part that is dying off. He needs his tail too.Hi! i just dont know- seems as it has gotten worse, does it look like he has cuffs here?Since Kraken hasn't been exposed to siblings in more than a year and a half we can eliminate that silly theory of it being a bite from a sibling.
Skin cuff is easily eliminated as well, they are very obvious when present. OP, have you recently noticed anything similar to this on your chams tail?
