The saddest day of my chameleon keeping is today

For someone keeping Chams as long as us to take a loss badly really shows how much he meant. Been there a few times myself. Just remember as much as it sucks and hurts that the good times with him are why we're still doing it after so long. Sorry, man.

Thanks guys! Yes, for the first year of his and her lives they were kept together in an large exo terra. They both developed infections as a result. Like I said, learn from my mistake. I have 6 other Bradypodion in perfect health and they are all kept individually in screen cages.
Out of all the male transvaalense I have seen pictures of, he was definitely the most beautiful. I dont think I am just being biased on that either. I am gonna need a new male or two in the near future to breed with my 2 females.

On no! Not this guy?!? So sorry to hear. You're correct in saying he was the fav of some. He's the baddest look'n dude I've seen! :(

Paul i'm not sure how i missed this but my heart goes out to you in this sad sad time. We all know how much this little guys was your pride and joy. So sorry for your loss . Rest in Peace little guy.:(

Thats a bummer, man. Definitely the nicest looking male I had out of that one import and definitely one of the nicest I have seen anywhere else.

Thanks. :( I am still so bummed out about losing him. He was such a tough little guy, and I grew so attached to him from the moment I got him and especially when I had to start hand feeding him for like a month. He was definitely the prettiest male transvaalense I have ever seen and had such a cool little personality when he was in his prime:(
Ill have to get a couple more in this next shipment. I just hope they will turn out to look anywhere near what he was.
