***The Third Official Enclosure Picture Thread***

cool I am a huge cristifer fan they are the dream chameleon. do you have any reasons for which kind you like best carewise .
Sorry I didn’t see this earlier. I don’t get on here much. I pretty much keep all my chameleons the same way. Most are subject whatever temps are outside where I live. My indoor chameleons do need to get cooled a bit during the hottest part of the year.

I love Cristifer’s and have been pretty successful breeding them. Unfortunately I will probably stop breeding them for a couple reasons. One is I can’t seem to get any new breeding stock and the other is I don’t really have room for them due to my Calumma parsonii parsonii collection.

I do have about 4 juveniles left.

Some of my new enclosures.

So glad that I've found this thread. I know it's a pretty old one. But what the heck! :)

Here are some pics and hopefully vids if they upload of the custom built enclosure I've been working on for months. I say months, because I don't get that much time off. So I worked on it when I could.

The enclosure measurements are:
6ft x 4ft x 2ft (182cm x 121cm x 60cm).

Why so big, you wonder?

Because I think my Veiled Chameleon, Rango, deserves a kingdom!

I hope you like it!

Sure would like some feedback from the experienced folks here! My DS cage arrived Friday so I made sure to set it up immediately. I've set up my structural branches and pots. I still need to set up perching and network branches. Feel free to give any opinions. I would love to improve this in every way possible. Thanks!

2 pothos up top, a nerve plant hidden just behind them, and I have the 2 on the bottom for 5 total

If you have your own thread we can give a lot more info. Looking good so far... The pothos may be taking up a bit too much of the basking level on top though. Depending on your UVB you need an open area at a specific distance for correct UVI levels.

Hi all,

Thought I'd put my setup as well.

Enclosure: Reptizoo knockdown 36x18x36
Equipment:
Lighting: Reptisun LED plus UVB 5.0 along with LED for plants
Heat Lamp: 75w Bulb (92 degrees at basking location)
Mist King (running on the chameleon academy timings) / Ro/di water
Reptifogger: (running on the chameleon academy timings) / Ro/di water.

Plants:
Umbrella plant
Golden Pothos
Green Pothos
Tradescantia zebrina (inch plant)
Standard bromeliad
Magnolia and mango leaf litter
Soil is ABG mix

Perches: all are Grapevine that has been sanded rough for additional grip

This is a bioactive tank. Approximately 300+ x 3(different species) isopods that are fed repashi isopod food along with carrots 2x a week. I try to remove fecal matter when I can of it's a huge one!

Star: Panther Chameleon. He's about seven months old. Captive bred.

Thanks!

I just got this awesome Tamura Designs enclosure 24x24x48. I love how there are already holes at top that you can unplug for misting systems, but my number one is the built in drain at the bottom. All natural plants but I do have 2 fake vine things I threw in there so I know that disqualifies me. It’s not fully auto but I have the Kasa power strip that you can control and set schedules for each individual outlet and the InkbirdSmart WiFi thermometer lets me check the environment from anywhere so I can turn off/on heat bulbs (Pangea heat projector), exhaust fan, etc

I currently have a reptisun t5 fixture but have an Arcadia 6% on the way. I use the MrReptile misting system with the Kasa outlet on a timer and it works pretty well, though the mist isn’t very fine. I’ll eventually get a mist king system.

The Sansi LEDs were a great addition, my plants have been thriving since adding it and it lights up the cage the perfect amount without it being too crazy.

And up at the top basking is my 6 month old Ambilobe Panther Chameleon named Ignacio aka Nacho. (Nacho Libre is one of my fav movies)
