With the park I live in... there is something seriously up with some of these people and their cats.
We are only allowed 2 pets (thank goodness NOT including reptiles... as well as fish and I think birds).
I know for a fact the neighbor has 3 cats and around 4 kittens.
A lady down the street recently had to remove ALL of her cats because she was found to have not 6, not 7, not 10, not 12, but 14 cats in her small one bedroom trailer.
Any who, many of the people here with cats let them run loose.
Because of this we have had a rise in the feral cat population...
Unfortunately because of this I will not be able to let any of my reptiles out for sun during the fall because I tried this once already and they tore up my reptarium with me outside with the cage!
I need to find a way to keep the cats away from my house.
Animal control is worthless because they charge "fees" or something like that to be called out there.
They've been called once already by the park but that was a month ago.
I've already seen at least 5 different cats today running around on their own, no collars, nothing, and they have that feral look.
It's not surprising to know wild dogs and cats are the #1 cause of native fauna dying off.
