Between this and the pizza thread, I am now ravenous for burgers & pizza.I really want a cheeseburger with bacon on it. And some thin cut fries. Maybe a chocolate milkshake....

You’re welcome!!!Between this and the pizza thread, I am now ravenous for burgers & pizza.
ME too...my friend just dropped off a McDonald's crispy chicken, fries and coffee...that should fix the cravings for a while.️Between this and the pizza thread, I am now ravenous for burgers & pizza.
It's me isn't it?we don’t need here thread Is random people just throwing out information
I am sorry... I had thai food for lunch which was not exactly a bacon cheeseburger and fries.Well I think that food topic isn’t helpful especially to those of us who missed lunch today because we’re trying to get a job completed before the holiday
Could not agree more. I hardly ever suggest the search bar... It can bring back too many random posts as well. It can be good if your looking for something that was posted by a certain member though. Then you define by member. Otherwise it can be a plethora of info that is not clearly defined. One of the things that I have noticed and have difficulty with is the search bar
Oh my goodness no it’s not you , didn’t you read the part where are you know I like you because of the likes yeah the search bar frustrates the heck out of me because I know there’s information in here it just takes so long to find itIt's me isn't it?

I know I was messing with ya. I am having one of those weeks lolOh my goodness no it’s not you , didn’t you read the part where are you know I like you because of the likes yeah the search bar frustrates the heck out of me because I know there’s information in here it just takes so long to find it
Well I think that food topic isn’t helpful especially to those of us who missed lunch today because we’re trying to get a job completed before the holiday . but now that I have a break
And as much as I appreciate “the things that don’t belong here” , I would love to also see “the things that can help improve this form “. One of the things that I have noticed and have difficulty with is the search bar . it will take you to random post with the word you’re looking for which a lot of times aren’t relevant . I notice a lot of times people will say just use the search bar but in my experience with that I literally will have to search through dozens of threads before I find information that’s even remotely close to what I’m looking for . it would be nice if you searched and it was the topic of the thread
And not some random comment in a thread . of course being an old fart and into chameleons before we even had this Internet thing maybe I’m doing it wrong . One of the things I will add to the things we don’t need here thread Is random people just throwing out information , there are plenty of professionals some of you of which I’ve grown very fond of . I think you know who you are because I like your comments all the time . Somehow I think they deserve a badge that way we know their information is more to the
Standard and not just somebody throwing crap out there (wow I actually added something to the conversation instead of being just a lurker how totally unlike me)
Are you sure? It's high in calciuum! The next thing that has absolutely no value here on the forums is white chocolate.
I'm not saying we have a major problem, but it simply has no place in chameleon care...
I'm a Cham newbie. I have learned a ton from this forum. The advice I received has helped ease my fears, regarding caring for Carmelo. As a newbie (Cham owner - less than 2 months), I have offered non-technical information, such as, adding lexan to sides of enclosure. I would hope that newbies would not offer technical advice. I'm still trying to remember which bulb is uvb/uva. I love the husbandry review and that you guys ask for pictures of the enclosure. From pics, someone spotted that I was dusting with Calcium D3 and also giving Reptivite D3. That kind of attention to detail is invaluable. Because I found this forum, Carmelo Chameleon is living his best life.I feel everyone's experiences are valid from the 20 year vets to the ones who got their first cham 3 months ago. This is supposed to be a site for all chameleon lovers to come and share, learn, and teach, or that's my impression. If only the professionals are to put out information, how are we measuring who are the professionals? Staff members, people who have been keeping for 20 years, veterinarians, or those who have over 3 chams? If someone gives incorrect info then they should be informed what is right and it becomes a teachable moment that is recorded for many members to read. The way I see it, if it is not a discussion board then only people with say the Heart Award should be able to reply to health threads, etc. Newer members should not be alienated or treated as if they're some random. Especially for the growth of the site in the future. If older members are not willing to take the younger ones under their wing then how will the great advice be passed down 50 years from now? We have badges for media wins, let's have badges for members that have been around awhile.
I’m not saying that people can’t reply that’s not what I’m saying at all what I’m saying is the people that are knowledgeable should have a way of being recognized . going back through some of the comments i’ve seen in the past there’s been some very poor information and even A bit of snottiness about it . And yes the person with 20 years experience or the person who’s been on the forum since it’s inception . I’m not talking about limiting anybodyI feel everyone's experiences are valid from the 20 year vets to the ones who got their first cham 3 months ago. That makes two of us , I hope that’s not what people are thinking by my statement because that’s not what I meant at all . Crap now I’m just gonna go back to being a lurker .@Morpheo's Mom said..."The way I see it, if it is not a discussion board then only people with say the Heart Award should be able to reply to health threads, etc."...I certainly hope it never comes to that.

I get what you are saying, being able to identify people who have ben here 5, 10, 20+ years would be helpful in many ways. People would certainly take their advice. I feel I've seen this topic thrown out there before....I’m not saying that people can’t reply that’s not what I’m saying at all what I’m saying is the people that are knowledgeable should have a way of being recognized . going back through some of the comments i’ve seen in the past there’s been some very poor information and even A bit of snottiness about it . I am glad your chameleon is living his best life!I'm a Cham newbie. I have learned a ton from this forum.
I have limited experience and knowledge - have only been at this with chameleons/reptiles for the past 3 1/2 years
