This just makes me sad, pet stores, please do better

Sorry to post this as it make me sad but I had to go to the pet store to restock my calcium supplements and I saw this poor girl. No laybox and eating the moss. I wish I could help her but with college and dorm life I can’t get anymore reptiles besides Nachito.

Ugh it makes me want to puke.

There was little baby’s and this girl. She was on sale and I didn’t know how to help her cause I bet she’s not going to survive because of all the misinformation and how chonkey she seemed with eggs. It breaks my heart

Yall gotta start avoiding the cham section when you go into pet stores.. This is like the gate of hell for us keepers that know how they should be kept and what the signs of ill health are. I am telling ya... I almost ended up with a baby last year because I broke my rule and "went to look" while getting dog food.
