Enzo is 8 or 9 months now. Do you think it's time for a bigger enclosure?
his current enclosure is 45" high 16" deep and 22" wide.

You could put a big pot plant next to it and leave the cage open to see what happens. Some like to run all over and some feel safer in a smaller cage because easier to defend the smaller land.

Cage size can be unlimited as long as they know how to find food and drink.

That's a really good point about the smaller cage feeling safer. My rabbit is like that, but I hadn't considered it with him. I had considered putting a plant next to the cage as you mentioned so maybe I will take trip to the nursery today instead of the petstore. Thanks! (y)

Male veileds can be very "tree" dominant. So a smaller tree is less stress to defend from encroaching rookie chams. In the spring my male oust will patrol the entire free range border several times a day for 2 months. After that he mostly just stays in "his" tree and just has a path from that to the window.

It depends on how he is acting. Generally if you don't upgrade now you need more foliage in his cage, and more branches. His cage is rather bare in my opinion.
