To Bandage or Not to Bandage, That is the Question

I just took Cecil to a new vet for some follow-up blood work. This vet did not bandage his tail at the site of the blood draw, which is different from every other vet I've seen (which are 2 other vets, admittedly) I'm just curious if a bandage on a blood draw is standard practice, or just in certain cases if the tail is bleeding after the draw. I didn't notice until I had him back in the car, otherwise I would have asked the vet there. Thanks for any input you care to share!

I agree I have had bearded dragon when one time i dropped an object on his tail i felt so bad it cut a little off and he is perfectly fine if he can handle that your chameleon is more than fine

Thanks to everyone! No, the tail has never bled, either yesterday, nor when I've had the bandage taken off the tail after we got home. My vet is in Orlando and always bandages the tail, however the bloodwork got screwed up by the lab, so instead of an 8 hour round trip visit for the 2nd week in a row they let me to go a place more local and then drop the blood off to another lab for processing. My fear (because I'm an irrational Cham Mom), was that they took him from me, and went back to draw the blood, so I never got to see how the new place handled him. Then, when there was no bandage I was wondering what other "shortcuts" they may have taken with my baby. I think I shall continue to take him to Orlando when a vet visit it needed, but for something urgent I won't be afraid to go to the more local place. I appreciate all the feedback and thanks for making me feel a little better.
