To the rescue

Does he have "tarsal spurs"? Those are little fleshy growths on the back feet that look a lot like heels sticking out behind the feet.

Maybe you could post a picture of the back feet?

It's not at all uncommon for their to be confusion on gender and if there are eggs, there's a different problem that needs to be addressed.

Eliza, there is no question he is indeed a he:D Tarsal spurs and all. Here is a pic to ease your mind. Not the best shot but he is sleeping and I didnt want to disturb him too much.

Your very welcome, and thank you for everything that you contribute to this forum.
Thank you all for your contributions. This is a wonderful place to share the love of these animals and without it there would be a lot of people out there still searching for advice and help. I know that I am glad to be part of the community.

I will see if I can get some pics tomorrow while we are outside soaking up the rays.:D

Well, thank you. I agree this is a wonderful place and it's so great we can exchange info and ideas here.

I look forward to more pictures.

I got this pic yesterday while he was checking out one of the girls. He darkened up quite a bit when I opened the cage and stuck my phone in to take the pic.

He is doing really well, if I could only get this tongue issue under control he will be 100%.

Update

Howdy everyone. Just wanted to make an update. Had a few friends over last night and wanted to show Last Leg off a little. I put some crickets in a cup for him as this is the easiest way to get him out of the enclosure. He still has his tongue issue so you can see his head burried into the cup lol. He has great colors and always changes to these pastels when hes eating.

I was standing in front of my other male's enclosure he he spotted us. He fired up almost immediately. It took Last Leg a few mintues to spot him but when he did he fired up too. Just thought I would share the pics.
