no...
In the wild a male will have a semi stable territory
that may consist of a single tree or large bush.
when the ladies are receptive,
he'll roam around a bit and "hang out at their place"
until he's kicked out by a well serviced female.
The 24x24x36" screen enclosures seem to be large enough
for most males most of the time.
but there are those that will always want to roam around.
-always want to roam around.
then there are those that don't want to travel much at all....
There is no such thing as an enclosure that is too big for an adult chameleon.
One thing to consider though is the ability to control variables within the space (humidity, temps, etc.).
today i am constructing Romeo's new home. 30x30x50. i could use some advice on keeping the temps stable. i keep him in front of a window right now which seems to help a lot, but winter is coming soon and that might not be enough
I am not a fan of night time temps above 65 degrees.
They require a significant drop in temperature at night.
In the daytime a decent ambient room temp and basking bulb (or bulbs) should suffice.
