Hi everyone:
I'm new to the forum, and just picked up a baby male veiled at a local reptile show today. He's 4 months old and looked very active and alert in the tank at the show. However, I did think he looked a bit skinny. Sorry, no photo right now as he's quite skittish being his first day in his new home so I'm trying to leave him alone for a few days. He did eat 10 1/4" crickets a couple of hours after we got home though.
Anyhow, you can see his ribs. Not just when he's moving or bending, but all the time. Is this normal or is he too skinny? If he's too skinny, what would be the best thing to fatten him up a bit? Waxworms?
Thanks.
