Traveling.... ?

Uhm, this might be dumb, but any good suggestions on how to travel our baby veiled to the vet on tuesday?

Obviously we cant bring his entire set up, I was just curious how others do it, since it is our first trip and I'd really like to not stress him toooo much...

Thanks! :)

There are various ways to do it. Keeping it dark and giving him something to grip on to are key. Some put a twig in a paper bag, I use one of those clear plastic shoeboxes you can buy, put paper towel in it and an artificial vine, then wrap the lot in a towel. If it's dark, he'll sleep, if he has something to grip on to, he'll feel secure, so it should keep the stress to a minimum.

I would add, keep it "damp". Any paper towels, etc. you use as padding, I would dampen it with water. Not dripping wet, but good and damp.

But I'm new, don't know nuttin'. That said, that's what I would do.

Oh that's true, I'd forgotten that, thank you, I misted the paper towel too.

It won't be as bad as you think, but it will feel like driving your brand-new baby home from the hospital for the first time, when you notice every bump in the road and curse traffic!

You don't say where you live. Last time I visited vet I put a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel in the bottom of the bag with the Cham box on top. I am in uk.
