Trioceros johnstoni bwindi

Its cool, I understand his hands are tied.:) I can wait longer, no worries:D

You seem to be in the KNOW CB, how many Chams came in on that shipment. Just curious about numbers in the US...

After a some select keepers got their picks, 4.4 johnstoni, 10.1 hoenelli, 10.40 Ugandan ellioti. So at the very least that. I would estimate probably half to 3/4 of the chameleons were already spoken for before I got word.

Doesn't matter to me as long as they get here in good shape. You'll have to deal with the heat sooner or later regardless.

I agree with the health of them. The concern is not dealing with the heat, the thought was the ability to have them be able to spend some time outdoors upon arrival. From now until October for me, no outside time. Inside is all set up and ready to go however ;)

Someone from Michigan talking about heat seems as silly as soneone from Texas talking about snow. :)

Bahaha! Its not uncommon for us to hit triple digit temps in the summer so don't think its all that cold up here ;) We have very hot and humid summers.

When I lived in MI it was worse to work outside than it ever was here. Something about the humidity made It almost unbearable in the summer and I had 3 inch icicles hanging off my beard in the winter. Texas summer heat does seem to last forever though.

Hi everyone,
I want to give you an update about the Uganda import.
Like you all know the paperwork is still at the Dutch commission they need to give the final green light to do the import.
This is taking way longer than expected but we are keeping weekly contact with them to see how thing running.
Also not that they can not keep it forever in their hand ,they have a deadline to work on these thing.
I really appreciate it that you understand us in this situation if it was in my hands you already had your animals but i can not control everything:(
Please don't forget that the small import that came in the Us took more than one year to com in so its not only difficult for us.
I hope you can take some extra waiting time for this shipment its not only difficult for my but also for Paul,my importer and all the European clients.
We just have to wait until all paperwork is done.
Off course i will keep all of you updated.
Thanks again for the understanding.
Jurgen

Thanks Jergen and Paul!!!! We are looking forward to them getting here but do understand how these things can go.
Steve

The small import that came in the US was also from a old quota(2012)that came also from our farm.
I spoke to the Uganda farm owner yesterday,it took almost 9 months to ship them so its not only our shipment that is a pain in the ***
Shipment was very small 20 johnstons(not even pairs maybe 6 or 7pairs in it),hoehnelli 40 animals 90 pro cent males and biteaneatus 60 heads all most all females.
That's it for the hole shipment even not one xenorhina so if you our smart i would buy some xeno's if they finally arrive off course.
We took contact with the ministry today and papers are still by the commission so we still have to wait(good news is they diden't give a negative advice so they still will come!)
I keep all of you informed and thanks again for the patience;)
