I'm planning on getting a chameleon in a reptile expo on the 25th. I really want to get a trioceros sternfeldi but I cant seem to find any solid information on how to care for them. Can any experienced sternfeldi keepers please help me?
hi
sorry for my poor english.
i find that it's an easy species to breed.
raising cage with temperature ranging from 20° to 25°.
the night, the temparture come down 10° and sometimes less.
they like terrarium with lots of light.
I don't think its that easy to take care of them. Many specialists warn u to get them as a beginner. Also its an underexplored species. I don't want to scare u, just make sure u are good informed about them. Main point is to keep the temperature right like sebs said. Also they need a lot of fresh air, so they need a air-permeable terrarium. I have a few good articles but unfortunately they are written in german :/ Hopefully that helps a bit at least.
