Truck advice!

Okay, I really need to buy myself a truck soon. I'd PREFER a truck or Jeep Wrangler, though they tend to guzzle gas, but I guess I can resort to a regular car if need be.

Shoot me ideas for the best brands, models, etc. that are reliable and fairly cheap.

Also, advice on getting jobs. They're really scarce here, especially if you're a minor. I already know about calling to assure them you care about the position and personally going in for applications. Nobody wants to hire around here.

toyota trucks will run forever if you take care of them. the older 4 cylinder models get ok gas mileage too.

good luck.

caramax is always looking. + they did a study that if before u go in a job interview u stand up with ur hands on ur hips u feel more confident and are more likely to get a job.

My very first interview was a group interview with 7 other people. I was always asked the questions first and it went in the line so they all had time to BS their answers. It was so nerve wrecking.

Job Hunting Advice...

Get to know about the place you are applying before going for the interview.
Practice and record yourself ahead of time to hear what you sound like.
Keep trying! Don't get discouraged. Be persistent but not annoying.
Timing and luck can have a lot to do with results, but only if you are out there!!!

Only In A Jeep!
(Just don't get one of the 4.0 liter gas guzzlers like the wrangler sport)
Lots of them out there and they are a lot of fun. :)

First suggestion if you decide on a truck- Get a mid-sized instead of a full sized truck. You will get better mileage, but you also still get the functionality of a truck.

I personally drive only GM, my family and I have had issues with other manufacturers and have never had any issue with GMs; others however will tell you something similar, (they like Ford/Dodge/Toyota for this reason). So take suggestions with a grain of salt (except mine, GM is definitely the best) (Just kidding of course, just having some fun :))

As for the job, look for something like Publix, or any grocery store that has baggers or people that are needed to run the register, or restaurants that have people bus the tables. Also like the others have said, do not give up!
