I just bought small hornworms from a local reptile store and I tried feeding them to my five month old male panther chameleon. He seemed interested at first, but later he dismissed them. How can I get him to eat these? Thanks :)

i have 4 panthers and one vieled and i just started feeding them as well. My vieled is a pig and eats anything lol. My panthers didnt show and interest at first but eventually became interested. For one of them i placed the worm on the side of the cage then took my finger and pushed on the side where the worm was makin appear to be pulsing if that makes any sense and he ate it right away

Helps if your cham will hand feed. If they wont then try and get one out of the cup that is actively moving. Its movement will attract the chams attention. They usually cant resist that. All my males love em one of my females just wont eat any worms. Damn women have to make things difficult. lol j/k ladies

Ours ate them in the beginning but then they grew enormous  and he seemed more scared of them than anything...lol..the few that were left are now tunring into moths, maybe he'll eat those. :)

My guy is stubborn and will eat anything BUT hornworms. I think he must not like the color or something? Because he was turned off of them from the start. I really wanted to get some in him because he was a little dehydrated at one point, so what I would do would be to hold a little tiny roach or cricket against the worm, and when he would go to get them he would hit the worm too. He seemed to like them once he was actually eating them cause he didn't spit them out or anything. But that worked for me!
