I my chameleon is currently taking medicine through a syringe and I think he inhaled some. I’m not sure what to do. I have I video but I can figure out how to post it. He shook around violently and had some mucus come out of his mouth. Now he keeps opening his mouth and taking deep breaths

It sounds like he aspirated it. Their airway is right in the front of the mouth below the tongue. This is one of the scariest parts of oral meds because you have to aim it at the back of the throat which is not always easy with them.
There really is nothing you can do for this. Some do pull through though if it wasn’t a lot. He may gape with his mouth open if he did aspirate it into the lungs. Call your vet in the morning.
