Unhealthy feces understanding.

So today I found this feces in my Chams cage, it looks as if she didn’t digest it all the way Ian’s it’s abnormally large. I would just like to k ow what this means, I have a general idea but I’m still a little concerned.

It looks pretty dry, how old is it? And I have seen other members post undigested BSFL.

How old was it and was that the only one that looks like that? Where is the urate?

It wouldn’t hurt to bring in a fecal sample to a vet so they could test for parasites.

I agree getting a fresh fecal tested is never a bad idea... Now as far as the BSFL being undigested this is pretty normal. They are smaller and have a bit of a thicker skin to them. I actually "pin" mine. I take a clean needle and poke them through lol. Sounds gross but my boy had one come out alive and crawling out of his poop. He likes to inhale his food so little chewing happens with smaller feeders.
