Untraining a cham

How do you untrain a trained chameleon. My chameleon is a very nice guy and has no problems of any kind. I just dont like the fact that he accepts my hand and walks towards it. I want him to be aggressive towards me. Any suggestions that dont take to long without stressing him out.

I dont think you can.

EDIt: Just thought I'd add that he probably wasn't trained to be 'friendly' he just is, so you can't change it.

if you manage, change your username to ChamUntrainer :D

Alternatively, i could do you a swap ;) I's love mine to be a little more sociable, but i accept him for who he is

why have the little fellow more stressed... usually when they are aggressive they are extremly agitated at their current situation. Stress=Death :(

Why would you want a cham that bites you? You should consider yourself lucky for having such a gem.

But if you wanted to do it, there's nothing like making him lose his trust in you. Scare him, stress him, invade his space agressively. However, this is also a sure way to make him extremely stressed and that is extremely harmful to his health, so I do not recommend it. I think you should either accept him for who he is, or trade him for a meaner chameleon.

First off, you cant train a cham and second, why would you want a aggresive cham. Its harder to do general care, such as cleaning cages, feeding, etc. If you want something aggressive, get a WC monitor.

Seriously?!?! Well it can be done, but I don't know why anyone would want an animal to be afraid of them. Trade him and get something nasty. I bet there are people out there that would like your friendly boy.

For whom ?!?!?! Even to call yourself "chamtrainer" is a joke...
Update: I've just seen that amazon sells the newest Cindy Crawford video: train your abs and your chams at once! Just 19.99$

for OP. when someone says they want to "untrain" a cham to be mean. oh and they don't want it to take "to (too) long" it seems appropriate to give out negative reps. maybe i'm just a stickler for ignorance.. idk.

ah, ok, I understand it wrong, the other way round

'Friendly' chameleons seem to be few and far between. I however have been lucky with all 3 of mine - they are/were happy to come out and walk around! You have a very special cham there - plenty of people would love their cham to be 'friendly'! He is who he is - a very special boy! Love him for who he is and enjoy him!:D

No, you guys are getting it all wrong. I dont want to stress him out. I just want him to be aggressive and have some wild instincts. I love him and i would never trade him.
