Unusual shed?

So Moe went through a shed about a month ago and only part of it completely came off. It's been this way for about a month now and I don't know what I should do (if anything). I've tried extra misting, not misting, And the zilla tropical mist humidifying spray. No results. I will attach a couple photos. 20170728_204009.jpg 20170728_203957.jpg

I have never seen this . I would generally suggest some extra misting sessions to help, but it has been a month? I'm not really sure. What are the average humidity levels where he is kept?

According to my gauges, 40 at the dry point and around 80/85 When i mist

Also, the shed before this had th e same problem. Except it was only on his casque. Now it's on both sides of the body, arms, legs and tail as well as the face. Before this he didn't shed for about two maybe three months (not sure if that's normal). I got this one in September when he was about 2 or 3 months old.

Hi @bobbydigital what are you using for his vitamin A source ?

We have a veiled chamaleon names Rambo. He is about 2 mos old i think. We purchased him from Pet Smart 1 mo ago. He had his first shedding and now has not opened his eyes (today makes day 6).
We took him to the vet and they gave eye drops and some powder foods to mix and feed him. The vet has no clue why he wont open his eyes. He weighs 8 grams. And is VERY active around his cage, even with his eyes closed. Temps are good, his in a screened in enclosure with vines, plants and a wayer fall. Im so stumped and really want to help him. Has anyone else experienced this?.

You should start your own thread. But your chameleon could have a vitamin A deficiency or eyes could be really sensitive to the lights
Thank you. I dont think its a vitamin A deficiency. I have a feeling it may be the lights. We had an iguana for 14 yrs, so we are very familiar with retiles. Chameleons are a bit more sensitive than iguanas though.
