Using Foam?

I notice some use foam to custom build up the sides. Has anyone done this and like it? What kind of foam do people use that is safe for chams? My fear is if it would put off a toxin when misted under a basking spot.

You can search for "Great Stuff". It has many versions. But the "Pond and Stone" version is black and is fish safe. So that is a good place to start.

Bill might be too shy to tell you... Go check his website at dragonstrand to see some really cool things you can do with the dragon ledges and great stuff

Yes you can use foam. I used foam sheets from Home Depot and carved out some designs in it then coated it with tile grout and then clear coated it. I actually posted a build of it if you look in my profile. It is cheap and easy to do. Just takes time and patients.

Yes you can also use insulation foam sheets. I carved them an coated them with dry-lock whick makes a nice texture.
