Veild not using her back feet?

I went to check on my girl Lyfling tonight and noticed that she wasn't grasping anything with her hind feet. I took her out to look closer and it seems one of her hind feet is open but she wont close it, the other is closed and she won't open it. Her joint right above her feet seems to be moving fine and otherwise I can't notice anything else wrong with her... Any ideas?

The first two pictures are the best I could get of her feet, the third is just a picture from a few days ago.

Update (1:20am 10/28)-I went back to check on her (I know messing with her sleep pattern but I'm a bit paranoid right now) and she was making her way up to her sleeping spot but she was actually using both her feet.. she did seem to be doing just fine climbing up... so I'm kind of a bit O.O right now. I'll check her in the morning, as well as check back here and I will update.

Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care?
Veiled Chameleon, Female I've had her since August 2012 --- She is a Translucent so her feet are white.

Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?
Handled 1-2 times a week

Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
She eats Dubia Roaches, She gets them dusted and put in her feeding dish 10-20 small Roaches when I notice her dish is empty. Roaches are fed Carrots and any other fruits/veggies I have for them.

Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
Repti Calcium with D3 once a week. Repti Calcium without D3 twice a week. ReptiVite with D3 once a week. (Does it need to change? Works just fine with my other Chameleons.)

Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
She has a dripper for her water that gets filled 2 times a day with fresh water. She gets misted 2-3 times daily. I see her drinking normally when I refresh her dripper.

Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
Fecal looks no different then the day I got her. Brown with white normal consistency. (I mean if needed I can take pictures.) No she has never been tested.

History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.
No history that I can think of that would be relevant.

Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
Her cage is a ReptiBreeze Open Air Black Aluminum Screen Cage 16"x16'x30"

Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
She has a duel combo light fixture that has a 75watt Sun Glo and a 75watt Night Glo. She also has a 18" Repti Sun 5.0 UVB Bulb. Lights are on a timer 6am-6pm day and 6pm-6am night.

Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
With myThermometers, her highest spot was 80 degrees for her basking and night temp never got below 60 degrees.

Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
Her humidity is normally around 50% and I'm sure it raises when she is misted.

Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
Not currently

Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
Located in a room with the rest of the reptiles.. No fans, windows ect near her cage. She's about 4 1/2 feet off the ground.

Location - Where are you geographically located?
Idaho

I think you need to take her to a vet. I realize that might not happen quickly due to the weekend but you should be finding a vet in your area. This is not a small problem.

I still recommend you complete the form. You can post it here to see if someone can offer helpful suggestions, but you should definitely print it out and take it with you to the vet because a good vet will ask a lot of those questions and having it written out will make your life easier. Any visit with a medical person causes stress and confusion. Having something you can refer to will help you.

Hello, welcome to the forum :) I'm glad to hear she's using both feet properly again. I think it would definitely be best for a vet to look her over. In the meantime I can tell you just a couple of things that you are doing differently to most owners on here.
Mostly people use a dusting schedule of plain calcium (no d3) for everyday feeding, only giving the d3 twice a month. Usually a multivit once or twice a month too.
Also you don't need any light at night, even the blue or red ones can disturb sleep. A cham has a parietal eye so she can look totally asleep but still sense the light through the top of her head. If the temps do drop below 60 degrees at night a ceramic heater is much better.
Here is a great all-round caresheet I always recommend to new people with Veileds - https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/chameleonsinmyhouse/395-veiled-chameleon-care-sheet.html

David Buchan, in the first two pictures, does she look gravid? If not, what are the bulgy shapes I'm seeing in the abdomen area?

Hard to say of course but I don't think so. Those bulgy shapes look more like ribs to me. She isn't particularly plump or thin. Looks entirely healthy to me.......

Is it just me, or does she look a bit dehydrated in the last picture? I'm by far no expert. Just an observation. Hopefully someone else will chime in their opinion about it. How do her urates look?

I nearly mentioned that too. Just a tiny bit. Her urates are white and she has adequate water provision according to the form. :)

She is using them normally, sorry it took me longer to get back on here then I thought. I have emailed a vet and I am waiting for a reply back from them again. She's been moving around and eating/drinking normally, so I'm not fully sure what could have caused her to react this way at all. But she seems to be doing a lot better and I'm less worried about her :)

She shouldn't be gravid she's only about 6" o.o she was being a little piggy when the body shot was taken (several weeks prior to her other 2 up there).

I'll defiantly take a look and see about changing the supplements :)

For the dehydration it's just that the eyes look a little sunken in. Nothing to worry about really if there are white urates.......... Glad you have got in touch with a vet to confirm what is wrong. I wasn't sure about mentioning MBD, it could quite easily be a neurological issue. Hope it all goes well with her :)

David Buchan says she doesn't look gravid, so I'm not saying she is. He's experienced with it, I'm not, but you should be aware that we've had stories on this board of females as young as 4 months old being gravid so, despite the fact she shouldn't be gravid, it's not an impossibility. You'll want to get a laying bin in or a shallow bin for her to scratch at sooner rather than later.

Realized I never did get back on here. I ended up taking Lyfling to a Emergency Vet when she stopped using her back legs again and I found her at the bottom of her cage, she passed shortly after I got her to he ER. The on-call vet told me she might have been impacted, he said that she looked in good health and impaction was what they thought. So I'm not sure what happened to cause her to be that way.

But she's been well missed RIP and it still tears me up seeing her pictures and not knowing what beauty she would have turned into :(
