Veiled cage size

So I'm building my veiled chameleon a new cage. And 2x2x4 ft is the standard minimum, I have the ability to make it bigger though. So my question is should I build it deeper, wider or taller ?

I have a 24x24x48 tall screen enclosure and I'm thinking of making mine bigger already, veileds get a decent size and my little guy seems to want more space and he's only about 10months old, so if you can start bigger, save yourself the time and do it

That's awesome. He's going to love the extra space. I agree, extra space in all dimensions will be greatly appreciated by your Cham.

If you've got room and you're building a new cage, build for the space your thinking of putting him at. 30x30x54 is great, but taller, wider and deeper will always be appreciated by your cham. Just assure that you have a good vertical to the enclosure and leave room for lights, etc. Can't wait to see your progress.

Is the dim I gave tall enough?

I think so. There is a lot of emphasis on "taller is better" when for a long lizard like a veiled Cham, horizontal width is important too. I think your Cham will be very happy with the extra height and width. It gives you the ability to set up zones for him.
