Veiled Cham changed completely overnight???

When I first got Peepers I had trouble with crickets escaping on me every time I would open the bin. Now however I have it down to a science, so it just takes practice and trial and error to figure out what works best for you

Silkworms are available in the UK but hornworms are considered a hazard to the UK and are banned for sale as I just found out haha

Okay I don't see how they can be that much of a hazard but whatever they think I'll look for silkworms but I've got to keep the price down as much as possible. The locusts are starting to cost a fortune as they all have decided to go and pop their clogs every five minutes

My family is so obsessed with Karma they got me to make an Instagram for her and I didn't realise chams were so popular. She hsnt been on it long and has already got 90ish followed

I love that name by the way!!!

We don't have an issue with locusts as our bearded dragon loves them keep them in the dark and remove the cardboard if you can and give them fresh veg they love our scraps we get about 3 weeks out of a pack and are purchased from jolleys which is the new pets at home

I think our problem is the humidity but I don't know how to fix that?? They all turn black and die which I know indicates too high humidity but I don't know how to bring that down...

I seen hornworms with UK users on different sites... they must be getting their on the black market trade... so surprising how many inverts actually are sold illegally.

Pop their clogs? (European colloquism is sometimes lost on me)

It's basically a way of saying dying. I have them in a storage box which we have put loads of holes into for air but not big enough for them to get out.

More air flow would help with the humidity, maybe make the same kind of bin as you would for crickets?? Cut holes out and then cover them with screening? Just a thought, I have never kept them so I'm not sure.

If I can catch any wild though I am going to try to breed them

I believe there is a lot of talk on here about breeding them and it's not too hard apparently. I would do it but I don't have enough time or space to as everythinghas to be kept in my room and my room is rather small especially with a viv in it

Also try swells reptiles I've only used bugs from in pets at home and jolleys as they are easy to pop into but I may order online this time
All the pets at homes near me don't have very healthy bugs so I avoid them completely. I find a lot of them come dead or die within a few days. And that's not by being eaten. Or humidity.

What size viv would you say for a female adult and do you think it would be best to get a mesh, glass or wooden one?
