I’ve heard when they do this it means constipation.. could be wrong though..

That’s what my vet said , he flushed him out on Friday and today he’s done the toilet and it was healthy , we have a liquid calcium as a little booster but vet said he is generally in great condition , little bit sore around toes but bones strong , he’s holding leg quite a lot and I don’t know best way forward

Is he still active and eating/drinking? Does he have branches to climb?

Yeah he’s very active , he has lots of branches , he’s a fussy eater and has always liked to be hand fed , he has ate 5 size 3 hoppers today and 2 wax worms so he’s eating ok , see pic plenty branches , plants

It could be the big portion sizes (the insects size) that can cause his constipation. And by hoppers do you mean grasshoppers or crickets? If grasshoppers then I’d stop feeding those and switch to crickets if you’re not doing those already

He gets locusts and crickets , size 3 are much smaller than recommended size , he could eat size 4

This is a potentially serious problem and a big indicator of MBD. I have not had an animal with MBD, but it can be caused by more than just lack of UVB. A vet that doesn't see this as an issue is likely not the experienced with chams.

I noticed you have one of those waterfalls, I know those can harbor bacteria, it’s possible your cham ate some and is now feeling sick over it

The vet said there very little signs of MBD James , his bones are strong , he has a very good grip with back legs , he said small amount around toes and has gave calcium boosts , they are the only specialist vets around here , what you think can he be healed ?

It could be the early signs. Supplements, gutloading, disease, organ failure, etc can all cause MBD. I'm not saying for certain, but it seems something is off

I agree something isn’t right mate , I just want to know what we can do to sort the little man as we adore him so much
